1 هَثَّ, aor. ـُ inf. n. هَثٌّ, He mixed a thing, one part with another. (M.) b2: هَثَّ, [aor. ـِ inf. n. هَثٌّ, He lied. (IAar, K.) R. Q. 1 هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, He mixed, or confounded; like مَثْمَثَ. (TA.) هثهث أَمْرَهُ He confounded his affair. (TA.) b2: هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, It was mixed, or confounded. (S, K.) b3: هَثْهَثَ, (inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, K,) He (a magistrate, S) acted unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically. (S, K.) b4: هثهث النَّاسَ He (a magistrate) acted unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically, towards the people. (TA.) A2: هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, It sent forth quickly: (K:) [ex.] هَثْهَثَتِ السَّحَابَةُ بِقُطْرِهَا وَثَلْجِهَا The cloud sent forth quickly its rain and its snow. (S.) A3: هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ (and هثهاث, TA) He trod, or trampled, vehemently.
