Wákidee: if the reading بَـ
ـرِيقُ [from بَرَقَ] had been transmitted, it would be evidently reasonable. (

ريقــه, meaning

n. of place from رَاقَ having for its

anomalous; for by rule it should be مَـ
ـرِيقٌ;] The part, of the throat, which is the place of passage of the water. (
