زهج: ليس في العربية مادة زهج، غير أن المعجم اللاتيني - العربي يذكر: زهيج الخيل أي صهيل الخيل. وربما أساء المؤلف سمع كلمة صهيل فظنها زهيج ولكني لا أرى ذلك لأنه ذكر اسم التفضيل أصهل مقابل المادة اللاتينية innio.
