ز ق م: (الزَّقُّومُ) اسْمُ طَعَامٍ لَهُمْ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ وَزُبْدٌ. وَ (الزَّقْمُ) أَكْلُهُ وَبَابُهُ نَصَرَ. قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: لَمَا نَزَلْ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ شَجَرَةَ الزَّقُّومِ طَعَامُ الْأَثِيمِ} [الدخان: 43] قَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ: التَّمْرُ بِالزُّبْدِ (نَتَزَقَّمُهُ) أَيْ نَتَلَقَّمُهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ} [الصافات: 64] الْآيَةَ.
