الصَّعْفُ: طائِرٌ صَغيرٌ، ج: صِعافٌ، وشَرابٌ من العَسَلِ، أو يُشْدَخُ العِنَبُ، فَيُطْرَحُ حتى يَغْلِيَ.
والصَّعْفَانُ: المُولَعُ بِشُرْبِه.
والصَّعْفَةُ: الرِّعْدَةُ من فَزَعٍ أو بَرْدٍ وغيرِهِ. وقد صُعِفَ، كعُنِيَ، فهو مَصْعُوفٌ.
