الصَّعْتَرُ: السَّعْتَرُ، وإذا فُرِشَ في موضعٍ، طَرَدَ الهَوامَّ.
وصَعْتَرَ النَّحْلُ: رَعاهُ،
وـ الشيءَ: زَيَّنَهُ.
والصَّعاتِرُ: الصِّعابُ الشّشدادُ. وصَعْتَرٌ وأبو صَعْتَرَةَ: رَجُلانِ.
والصَّعْتَرِيُّ: الشاطِرُ، والكريمُ الشجاعُ.
