الصَّغانَةُ، كَسحابَةٍ: من الملاهي، مُعَرَّبَةُ جَفانَهْ.
وصَغانِيانُ: كُورَةٌ عَظيمَةٌ بما وراءَ النَّهْرِ، ويُنْسَبُ إليها الإِمامُ الحافِظُ في اللُّغَةِ، الحسنُ بنُ محمدِ بنِ الحسنِ، ذُو التَّصانيفِ، والنِسْبَةُ: صَغانِيٌّ وصاغانِيٌّ، مُعَرَّبُ جغانيانِ. وإسحاقُ بنُ إبراهيمَ بنِ صَيْغُونَ الصَّيْغونِيِّ: زاهِدٌ محدِّثٌ.
