لثِق: لثق: فسرت في معجم المنصوري بكلمة لزج. الحُمى اللَّثِقة: لحمى النائبة في كل يوم المسماة البلغمية: (معجم المنصوري): حمّى وِرْد البلغمية التي تنوب كل يوم وتفتر بين النوبتين فان لم تفتر فهي اللثقة وقد سميت بهذا الاسم لأن مادتها التي في البلغم ذات رطوبة وبلّة (محيط المحيط).
