مصح
1 مَصَحَ, aor. ـَ inf. n. مُصُوحٌ (and مَصْحٌ, TA), He, or it, (a thing, S,) went away; passed away; departed. (S, K.) b2: It finished; came to an end; ceased. (S, K.) b3: It (a garment) became old and worn-out. (S, K.) b4: It (a plant) became faded in its blossoms. (S, K.) b5: Also, inf. n. مُصُوحٌ, It (a blossom) faded; or lost its colour. (AHn.) b6: مَصَحَ, (inf. n. مُصُوحٌ, TA,) It (the shade) became short. (S, K.) b7: مَصَحَ, inf. n. مُصُوحٌ, It (an udder) ceased to have milk. (TA.) b8: It (the milk of a camel) ceased; passed away. (S, K.) b9: مَصِحَ, aor. ـَ It (shade) became deficient and thin. So accord. to the K; but in other lexicons, the verb, with reference to shade, is مَصَحَ. (TA.) b10: مَصَحَ, inf. n. مُصُوحٌ, It (a writing) became obliterated, or nearly so. (TA.) b11: It (a dwelling) became obliterated; or its vestiges became effaced. (TA.) b12: مَصَحَ بِهِ, (S, K,) and ↓ أَمْصَحَهُ, (IB,) He took away, carried off, or went away with, it; or caused it to go, go away, or pass away. (S, IB, K.) b13: مَصَحَ فِى الأَرْضِ, inf. n. مَصْحٌ, He set forth journeying through the land, or earth: as also مَسَحَ. (ISd.) 4 أَمْصَحَ see 1.أَمْصَحُ Deficient and thin shade. (K.)
