فلخ: شمر: فَلَخْتُه وقَفَخْتُه إِذا أَوضَحتَه وسَلَعْته أَيضاً.
والفَيْلَخ: أَحَدُ رَحَيَيِ الماءِ واليد السفلى منهما؛ ومنه قوله:
ودُرْنا كما دارَتْ على القُطْبِ فَيْلَخُ.
