(فَسَقَ) الْفَاءُ وَالسِّينُ وَالْقَافُ كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ، وَهِيَ الْفِسْقُ، وَهُوَ الْخُرُوجُ عَنِ الطَّاعَةِ. تَقُولُ الْعَرَبُ: فَسَقَتِ الرُّطَبَةُ عَنْ قِشْرِهَا: إِذَا خَرَجَتْ، حَكَاهُ الْفَرَّاءُ. وَيَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ الْفَأْرَةَ فُوَيْسِقَةٌ، وَجَاءَ هَذَا فِي الْحَدِيثِ. قَالَ ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ: لَمْ يُسْمَعْ قَطُّ فِي كَلَامِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فِي شِعْرٍ وَلَا كَلَامٍ: فَاسْقٌ. قَالَ: وَهَذَا عَجَبٌ، هُوَ كَلَامٌ عَرَبِيٌّ وَلَمْ يَأْتِ فِي شِعْرٍ جَاهِلِيٍّ.
