بالضم ثم السكون، وكسر الراء، وياء، وآخره نون: قرية من نواحي خوزستان، وإليها ينسب أبو أيوب المورياني وزير المنصور واسمه سليمان ابن أبي سليمان بن أبي مجالد وقتله المنصور.
