inf. n. دَوْكٌ and مَدَاكٌ, He bruised, brayed, or pounded, it; (

K.) And Ru-beh says, ↓ فَرُبَّمَا نَجَيْتُ مِنْ تِلْكَ الدُّوَكْ [And seldom, or often, I escaped from those evils, &c.] (

i. q. صَلَآءَةٌ, (
