(وَكَرَ) الْوَاوُ وَالْكَافُ وَالرَّاءُ: أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ لَيْسَتْ كَلِمُهُ عَلَى قِيَاسٍ وَاحِدٍ، لَكِنَّهَا أَفْرَادٌ. فَالْوَكَرَى: ضَرْبٌ مِنَ الْعَدْوِ. وَالْوَكَّارُ: الرَّجُلُ الْعَدَّاءُ. وَالْوَكَرَى مِنَ النِّسَاءِ: الشَّدِيدَةُ الْوَطْءِ إِذَا مَشَتْ. وَكَرْتُ الْإِنَاءَ: مَلَأْتُهُ. وَوَكَرَ بَطْنَهُ: مَلَأَهُ. وَالْوَكِيرَةُ: الطَّعَامُ يُتَّخَذُ لِلْبِنَاءِ. وَالْوَاكِرُ: الطَّائِرُ يَدْخُلُ وَكْرَهُ. وَالْوُكْرَةُ: الْمَوْرِدَةُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ.
