Q. Q. 1 هَرْوَلَ He walked quickly: (Msb:) [he went a kind of trotting pace between a walk and a run; see رَمَلَ;) هَرْوَلَةٌ is not so quick as خَبَبٌ [an amble]; (Msb;) and is between مَشْىٌ [a walk] and عَدْوٌ [a run]: (S, Msb, K:) it is a kind of عَدْوٌ: (S:) or quicker than عَنَقٌ: or a quick walk. (K.)
