بلفظ نور ضدّ الظلمة: من قرى بخارى عند جبل، بها زيارات ومشاهد للصالحين، ينسب إليها أبو موسى عمران بن عبد الله النوري الحافظ البخاري، روى عن أحمد بن حفص بن محمد بن سلام البيكندي وحيّان بن موسى ومحمد بن حفص البلخي، روى عنه أحمد بن عبد الواحد بن رفيد وعبد الله بن منيح عن ابن موسى، والقاضي أبو عليّ الحسن بن علي بن أحمد بن الحسن بن إسماعيل بن داود الداودي، ولد سنة 451، روى عن محمد بن عبد الصمد بن إبراهيم الحنظلي، روى عنه عمر بن محمد النسفي، مات سنة 518.
