النَكَدُ: كُلُّ شيءٍ خَرَجَ إلى طالبِهِ بتعسُّر، يقال: رَجُلٌ نَكَدٌ ونَكِدٌ، ونَاقَةٌ نَكْدَاءُ: طَفِيفَةُ الدَّرِّ صَعْبَةُ الحَلْبِ. قال تعالى: وَالَّذِي خَبُثَ لا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا نَكِداً
[الأعراف/ 58] .
