[نسك] نسكت الشئ: غسلته بالماء وطهَّرته، فهو مَنْسوكٌ. سمعتُه من بعض أهل العلم. وأنشد: ولا تنبت المرعى سباج عراعر ولو نُسِكَتْ بالماءِ سِتَّةَ أشهرِ والنُسْكُ: العبادة. والناسك: العابد. ونسك بالضم نَساكَةً، أي صار ناسِكاً. والنَسيكَةُ: الذبيحةُ، والجمع نُسُكٌ ونَسائِكُ. تقول منه: نَسَكَ لله يَنِسُكُ. والمَنْسِكُ والمَنْسَكُ: الموضع الذي تُذْبَحُ فيه النَسائِكُ، وقرئ بهما قوله تعالى: {لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جعلنا مَنْسَكاً هم ناسكوه} .
