: أي واسِع؛ من باب عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ.
وقد نَدحه يَنْدَحه، والمَنْدوحة منه كالمصدوقة.

(نَدَحَ) النُّونُ وَالدَّالُ وَالْحَاءُ كَلِمَةٌ تَدُلُّ عَلَى سَعَةٍ فِي الشَّيْءِ. مِنْ ذَلِكَ النَّدْحُ: الْأَرْضُ الْوَاسِعَةُ، وَالْجَمْعُ أَنْدَاحٌ. وَمِنْهَا قَوْلُهُمْ: لَكَ عَنْهُ مَنْدُوحَةٌ، أَيْ سَعَةٌ وَفُسْحَةٌ. قَالَ الْخَلِيلُ: وَأَرْضٌ مَنْدُوحَةٌ: بَعِيدَةٌ وَاسِعَةٌ. وَإِنَّهُ لَفِي نَُدْحَةٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، أَيْ سَعَةٍ وَفُسْحَةٍ. وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ.
