[لقع] نه: فيه: إن فلانًا "لقع" فرسك فهو يدور كأنه في فلك، أي رماه بعينه. ومنه ح سالم: "فلقعني" الأحول بعينه، أي أصابني بها، أي هشام بن عبد الملك وكان أحول. ومنه: "فلقعه" ببعرة، أي رماه بها.

(لَقَعَ) اللَّامُ وَالْقَافُ وَالْعَيْنُ أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى رَمْيِ شَيْءٍ بِشَيْءٍ وَإِصَابَتِهِ بِهِ. يُقَالُ: لَقَعْتُ الرَّجُلَ [بِالْحَصَاةِ، إِذَا رَمَيْتَهُ بِهَا، وَلَقَعَهُ بِبَعْرَةٍ رَمَاهُ بِهَا. وَلَقَعَهُ بِعَيْنِهِ، إِذَا عَانَهُ. وَاللُّقَّاعَةُ] : الدَّاهِيَةُ الَّتِي يَتَلَقَّعُ بِالْكَلَامِ، يَرْمِي بِهِ مِنْ أَقْصَى حَلْقِهِ، وَكَذَا التِّلِقَّاعَةُ. وَفِي كَلَامِهِ لُقَّاعَاتٌ، إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ بِأَقْصَى حَلْقِهِ.
