لعبط: تلعبط: يبدو أن معناها يحتال للقيام بجولات قتالية (عنتر 15: 79) ولكن الخصم إذا نظر خصمه قد رجح عليه فلا بد أن يتلعبط بين يديه.
وفيه (11: 80): فلما نظر رستم إلى ما حل فيه وكيف خجل قدام الملك وحواشيه فصار يتلعبط بيديه مع رجليه وطلب الخلاص منه غصباً عنه.
