كزاغند: سُترة مضرّبة محشوة متخذة من القطن أو الحرير تُستخدم عوضاً من الدرع (فريتاج 3، 439 والجريدة الآسيوية 1896/ 2 والنويري أفريقية 39): فقالوا أين نطعن هؤلاء وقد لبسوا الكازغندات -كذا- والمغافر فقال أمير منهم في أعينهم فسميَ من ذلك اليوم أبا العينين وتجمع الكلمة (عند الملوك 2/ 1/33) على كزاغندات.
