(كَزَمَ) الْكَافُ وَالزَّاءُ وَالْمِيمُ أُصَيْلٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى قِصَرٍ وَقَمَاءَةٍ. فَالْكَزَمُ: الْقِصَرُ فِي الْأَنْفِ، وَكَذَلِكَ فِي الْأَصَابِعِ. يُقَالُ أَنْفٌ أَكْزَمُ وَيَدٌ كَزْمَاءُ. وَالْكَزْمُ: الرَّجُلُ الْهَيَّبَانُ، وَسُمِّيَ لِانْقِبَاضِهِ عَنِ الْإِقْدَامِ، وَالْكَزُومُ: الَّتِي لَمْ يَبْقَ فِيهَا سِنٌّ مِنَ الْهَرَمِ. وَكُلُّ هَذَا قِيَاسُهُ وَاحِدٌ. وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ الْكَزْمَ كَالْكَدْمِ بِمُقَدَّمِ الْفَمِ. وَهَذَا مِنْ بَابِ الْإِبْدَالِ، وَاللَّهُ بِصِحِتِّهَا أَعْلَمُ.
