قدع

1 قَدَعَ فَرَسَهُ He pulled in his horse by the bridle and bit, to stop him; (S, K;) he curbed, or restrained, him. (S.) b2: هُوَ الفَحْلُ لَا يُقْدَعُ أَنْفُهُ: see أَنْفٌ; and see قرع.
