غَمَجَ الماءَ كضَرَبَ وفَرِحَ: جَرِعَهُ.
والغَمْجَةُ، ويُضَمُّ: الجُرْعَةُ. وككَتِفٍ: الفَصيلُ يَتَغامَجُ بين أرْفاغ أُمِّهِ،
وـ منَ المياهِ، ما لم يكُنْ عَذْباً،
كالمُغَمَّجِ، كمُعَظَّمٍ.
