صيغ
2 صيّغ طَعَامَهُ, (ISh, O, K,) inf. n. تَصْيِيغٌ (K,) He soaked his food in sauce, or seasoning: (ISh, O, K:) and صيّغهُ بِالسَّمْنِ He soaked it with clarified butter. (ISh, O.) [صَبَغَهُ has a similar meaning, and is better known.]صِيغَةٌ and other words in which ى is substituted for و, see in art. صوغ.
