صهبج: التهذيب في الرباعي: وَوَبَرٌ صُهَابِجٌ أَي صُهَابيّ، أَبدلوا

الجيم من الياء، كما قالوا: الصِّيصِجّ والعَشِجّ وصِهْرِيجٌ وسِهْرِيٌّ؛

وقول هِمْيان:

يُطيرُ عنها الوَبَر الصُّهابِجَا

أَراد الصُّهابيّ، فخفف وأَبدل.
