زبعر: رجلٌ زِبَعْرَى. وامرأة زِبَعراة: في خُلُقها شَكاسةً . والزَّبْعَرُ: ضَرْبٌ من المَرْوِ. قال:

وكأنَّها الاسفِنْطُ يومَ لقِيتُها ... والضَوْمَران تَعُلُّهُ بالزَّبْعَرِ

والزَّبْعَرِيّ: ضَرْبٌ من السِّهام، منسوب.
