(رَهَمَ) الرَّاءُ وَالْهَاءُ وَالْمِيمُ يَدُلُّ عَلَى خِصْبٍ وَنَدًى. فَالرِّهْمَةُ: الْمَطْرَةُ الصَّغِيرَةُ الْقَطْرِ; وَالْجَمْعُ رِهَمٌ وَرِهَامٌ. وَرَوْضَةٌ مَرْهُومَةٌ. وَأَرْهَمَتِ السَّمَاءُ: أَتَتْ بِالرِّهَامِ. وَنَزَلْنَا بِفُلَانٍ فَكُنَّا فِي أَرْهَمِ جَانِبَيْهِ، أَيْ أَخْصَبِهِمَا.
