(دحمس) - وفي حَدِيثِ حمزةَ بنِ عَمْرو : "في ليلة دَحْمَسة".
يقال: لَيْل دَحْمَس ودُحْسُم: أَسودُ مُظْلِم، قال أبو نُخَيْلة:
فادَّرِعى جِلبابَ ليل دَحْمَسِ ... أَسْودَ دَاجٍ مثلَ لَونِ السُّنْدُسِ

(س) فِي حَدْيث حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَمْرو «فِي لَيْلةٍ ظَلْماءَ دُحْمُسَةٍ» أَيْ مُظْلِمة شَدِيدَةِ الظُّلْمة.
(س [هـ] ) وَمِنْهُ الْحَدِيثُ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُبَايعُ الناسَ وَفِيهِمْ رَجُلٌ دُحْمُسَانٌ» وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ «دُحْمُسَانِيٌّ» أَيْ أسوَدُ سمينٌ. وَقَدْ تقدَّم.
