(دجن) - في حَدِيث ابنِ عَبَّاس، رضي الله عنهما: "أَنَّ اللهَ مسَح ظَهْرَ آدَمَ بدَجْناء".
وهو بالحَاء أَصحُّ. قال صاحب التَّتِمَّة: هي اسمُ أرضٍ، وذكره غَيرُه بالقصر.

(دَجَنَ) الدَّالُ وَالْجِيمُ وَالنُّونُ قِيَاسُهُ قِيَاسُ الدَّالِ وَالْجِيمِ وَاللَّامِ. فَالدَّجْنُ: ظِلُّ الْغَيْمِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الْمَطِرِ. وَأَدْجَنَ الْمَطَرُ: دَامَ أَيَّامًا. وَالْمُدَاجَنَةُ: حُسْنُ الْمُخَالَطَةِ. وَالدُّجُنَّةُ: الظَّلْمَاءُ. وَفِي كِتَابِ الْخَلِيلِ قَالَ: لَوْ خَفَّفَهُ الشَّاعِرُ لَجَازَ لَهُ. قَالَ حُمَيْدٌ:

حَتَّى إِذَا انْجَلَتْ دُجَى الدُّجُونِ

وَمِنَ الْبَابِ دَجَنَ دُجُونًا: أَقَامَ. وَالشَّاةُ الدَّاجِنُ: الَّتِي تَأْلَفُ الْبُيُوتَ. وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
