المُثَدنُ: الكَثِيْرُ اللَحْمِ، وثَدَّنَه كَثْرَةُ أكْلِه. وقيل: هو الضَّخْمُ الثنَادي. وثدِنَ الرجُلُ ثَدَناً. والمَثْدُوْنُ اليَدِ: المُخْدَجُ اليَدِ، وكذلك المُثْدَنُ، وقد ثُدِنَتْ يَدُه. وامْرأةٌ ثَدِنَة: مَنْقُوْصَةُ الخَلْقِ.
