تهن: الأَزهري: أَهمله الليث. وروى ثعلب عن ابن الأَعرابي: تَهِنَ

يَتْهَنُ تَهَناً، فهو تَهِنٌ إذا نام. وفي حديث بلال حين أَذَّنَ قبل الوقت:

أَلا إن العبدَ تَهِنَ، أَي نامَ، وقيل: النون بدل فيه من الميم، يقال:

تَهِمَ يَهْتَمُ إذا نام، المعنى أَنه أَشكَل عليه وقتُ الأَذان وتحَيَّر

فيه، فكأَنه قد نام.
