تمن: تمنة: وعاء للِبن (ميهرن 26) تمان وُتَمْين: نوع من الجرانيوم، ابرة الراعي، ففي ابن البيطار (2: 232): والنوع الأول منه يعرف بثغر الإسكندرية بالتمان وبالتمين أيضاً بالتصغير سمعته من عرب برقة، وهو بظاهر الإسكندرية من غربيتها بالحمامات وغيرها.
