بَيْحانُ: اسمُ رجُلٍ أبي قبيلةٍ، ومنه: الإِبِلُ البَيْحانِيَّةُ، والذي يَبوحُ بِسِرِّه.
وتَبْييحُ اللحمِ: تَقْطيعُهُ وتَقْسيمُهُ.
وبَيَّحَ به: أشْعَرَهُ سِرَّاً.
والبَيَّاحَةُ، مشدَّدةً: شَبَكَةُ الحُوتِ.
