بالحاء مهملة: مخلاف باليمن معروف، منه كان الفقيه البيحاني المقري نزيل مكة، وكان صالحا ديّنا مقبولا، مات قرابة سنة 595 أو فيها.

وتَبْييحُ اللحمِ: تَقْطيعُهُ وتَقْسيمُهُ.
وبَيَّحَ به: أشْعَرَهُ سِرَّاً.
والبَيَّاحَةُ، مشدَّدةً: شَبَكَةُ الحُوتِ.
