(س) فِي حَدِيثِ الْحَجَّاجِ «لَمَّا أدخِل عَلَيْهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ المهلَّب أَسِيرًا فَقَالَ الْحَجَّاجُ:
جَمِيلُ المُحَيّا بَخْتَرِيّ إِذَا مشَى
فَقَالَ يَزِيدُ:
وَفِي الدرْع ضَخْم المَنْكِبَيْن شِنَاق
البَخْتَرِيّ: المُتَبَخْتِر فِي مَشْيه، وَهِيَ مِشْيَة المتكَبر المُعجَب بِنَفْسِهِ.
