بكسر الكاف، والسين مهملة: محلة كبيرة بسمرقند، يقال لها بالفارسية دروازه كش،
ينسب إليها أبو إسحاق إبراهيم بن إسماعيل بن جعفر ابن داود الزاهد البابكسيّ السمرقندي، توفي في رمضان سنة 257.
