بفتح الدال، والسين مهملة، والتاء فوقها نقطتان: موضع معروف بسمرقند، ينسب إليه أبو الحسن علي بن الحسن بن نصر بن خراسان بن عبد الله البابدستاني: فقيه حنفيّ فاضل ثقة، توفي بسمرقند في صفر سنة 368.
