الوَسيجُ: سَيْرٌ للإِبِلِ، وسَجَ، كوعَدَ، وسيجاً. وإبِلٌ وَسُوجٌ عَسُوجٌ،
وجَمَلٌ وسَّاجٌ عَسَّاجٌ: سَريعٌ.
وأوسَجْتُهُ: حَمَلْتُهُ على الوَسيجِ.
وَوَسيجٌ: ع بِتُرْكِسْتانَ. وعُقْبَةُ بنُ وسَّاجٍ: مُحَدِّثٌ. وبُكَيْرُ بنُ وسَّاجٍ: شاعِرٌ.
