اللَّبْزُ، كالضَّرْبِ: الأكْلُ الشديدُ، واللَّقْمُ، وضَرْبُ الظَّهْرِ باليَدِ، والضَّرْبُ الشديدُ، والنبْزُ، وضَرْبُ الناقَةِ الأرضَ بِجُمْعِ خُفِّهَا، أو ضَرْباً لطيفاً في تَحَامُلٍ، وبالكسر: ضَمْدُ الجُرْحِ بالدَّوَاءِ، هكذا ذَكَرَهُ أبو عَمْرٍو في بابِ فِعْلٍ بالكسر.
