الفَحْجَلُ، كجعفرٍ: ذَكَرَهُ النُّحاةُ، وفَسَّروهُ بالأفْحَجِ. وعندي أنه وَهَمٌ، وإنما الأفْحَج هو الفَنْجَلُ، لكنهم لمَّا ذكروهُ أورَدْتُه.
