قَصَرَ(n. ac. قُصُوْر)
a. ['An], Fell short of, did not reach; failed to attain, to
accomplish; left, relinquished; desisted, abstained from;
quitted, ceased from.
b. [Bi], Fell short, failed; was cheap.
c. [Fī], Stopped, became remiss in.
d. Ceased, left off.
e.(n. ac. قَصْر), Shortened; cut, clipped; curtailed, contracted;
abridged, abbreviated; narrowed, cramped.
f.(n. ac. قَصْر), Confined, restricted; restrained.
g. [acc. & Fī], Secluded, shut, pent up in.
h. [acc. & 'Ala], Restricted to; confided exclusively to (
affair ).
