(فَخَشَ الأَمرَ، كمَنَعَ) بِالْخَاءِ، أَهْمَلَه الجَوْهَرِىٌّ وصاحبُ اللِّسَانِ، وقالَ الصّاغَانِيُّ: أَىْ (ضَيَّعَه) ، عَن ابنِ عَبّادٍ. قُلْتُ: وكَأَنَّهُ مَقْلُوبُ فَشَخَه.
