(عُمْرُوسُ) : الْحَمَلُ إِذَا بَلَغَ النَّزْوَ. وَهَذَا مِمَّا زِيدَتْ فِيهِ الْمِيمُ، وَهُوَ مَنْ عَرِسَ بِالشَّيْءِ: لَازَمَهُ وَأُولِعُ بِهِ. وَمُمْكِنٌ أَنْ تَكُونَ مَنْحُوتَةً مَنْ عَرِسَ وَمَرِسَ، لِأَنَّهُ يَتَمَرَّسُ بِالْإِنَاثِ وَيَعْرَسُ بِهَا.
