مكان في قول عدي بن زيد العبادي وكانت لأبيه إبل فبعث بها عدي إلى الحمى فغضب عليه أبوه فردّها فلقيها خيل فأخذتها وسار عديّ فاستنقذها وقال:
للشرف العود وأكنافه ... ما بين جمران فينصوب
خير لها ان خشيت حجرة ... من ربّها زيد بن أيوب
متّكئا تصرف أبوابه، ... يسعى عليه العبد بالكوب
