علم مرتجل، بفتح أوله، وسكون ثانيه، وباء موحدة، ونون: من رستاق القرج بالرّي، ينسب إليها مغيرة بن يحيى بن المغيرة السّدّي الرازي الوهبني وأبوه يحيى بن المغيرة صاحب جرير، رحل إليه أبو زرعة وأبو حاتم الرازيان.
