(وَقَلَ)
(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ أُمِّ زَرْع «لَيْسَ بِلَبِدٍ فَيُتَوَقَّلَ» التَّوَقُّلُ: الإسْراعُ فِي الصُّعود.
يُقَالُ: وَقَلَ فِي الجَبَل وتَوَقَّلَ، إِذَا صَعِدَ فِيهِ مُسْرِعا.
[هـ] وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ ظَبْيان «فَتَوَقَّلَتْ بِنَا القِلاصُ» .
وَحَدِيثُ عُمَرَ «لمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أحُدٍ كُنْتُ أَتَوَقَّلُ كَمَا تَتَوَقَّل الأُرْويَّة» أَيْ أصْعَد فِيهِ كَمَا تَصْعَد أُنْثَى الوُعُول.
