[هـ] فِي حَدِيثِ خُزَيْمَةَ، وذكَر السَّنَة، فَقَالَ «وأيْبَسَتِ الْوَدِيسَ» هُوَ مَا أخْرَجَت الأرضُ مِنَ النَّبات. يُقَالُ: مَا أَحْسَنَ وَدْسَهَا.
قَالَ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ: الْوَدْسُ: أَوَّلُ نَبات الْأَرْضِ.
