(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ «قَالَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ: إِذَا قُلْتَ فَأَوْجِزْ» أَيْ أسْرِع واقْتَصرْ. وكَلامٌ وَجِيزٌ: أَيْ خفيفٌ مُقْتَصِد. وأَوْجَزْتُهُ إِيجَازاً. وَقَدْ تَكَرَّرَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ.
